AMICIS Instagram Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

This contest is open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Amicis Coffee Bar and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. Contest Period

The contest begins when posted on Instagram and ends at 11:59PM on the date indicated on the launch post (the “Contest Period”).

3. How to Enter

To enter:

• Follow @amiciscoffee on Instagram

• Post a photo or video of yourself on your Instagram grid

  • You may repost to your story, but only grid posts are contest-eligible

• In the caption, describe your favourite Amicis Coffee Bar memory or moment

• Include the hashtag #[Hashtag] indicated in the contest post

• Ensure your account is public for the duration of the contest

Only one entry per person per contest is permitted. By entering, you confirm that you own the rights to the image or video and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

4. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is required to enter or win. Participants may enter by posting a photo or video of themselves, along with a caption describing their favourite Amicis moment, and using the hashtag #[Hashtag]. The memory described may be from any past experience and does not require a current or recent visit.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

A winner will be selected by the Amicis Coffee Bar team based on creativity, storytelling, alignment with the theme, and overall visual/aesthetic appeal. Selection will take place within 7 days of the contest closing.

The selected entrant will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message and must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question (e.g., 6 + 7 × 2) to be declared a winner. If the selected entrant does not respond within 72 hours or fails to meet the eligibility requirements, another entrant may be selected.

6. Prize

The winner will receive the prize indicated in the contest post, valued as indicated. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash.

7. Rights and Usage

By entering the contest, participants grant Amicis Coffee Bar the right to use their submitted photo, video, and caption for promotional purposes in print, online, and social media channels, with credit given to the original creator.

8. Limitation of Liability

Amicis Coffee Bar is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or do not comply with the contest rules.

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, participants release Instagram from any responsibility related to the contest.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the contest and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations and shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
